Hey everyone! How was your week? My kiddos just started school again last week so I’m trying to get in this new groove of all the changes. Now that ALL my kiddos are in school full days I’ve decided its time to get back to working on me.
It has been weeks since I have given any updates on my weight loss journey and after catching up on tons of reviews and some other posts I thought it was time to check in. For those of you that are new here, I started a weight loss journey at the beginning of the year and was making great progress. I had lost almost 50 lbs!
Then I fell into a depression, Summer vacation started, the days at the gym could no longer happen as much, and I found that not counting calories IS way much easier than tracking what I ate!
My husband and I vowed that when the kiddos started school this year we were going to get back to the gym and get back on track. Just thinking about going back made me nervous because I hadn’t been in so long that I felt like the very first time I was going in. Would they remember me, would they shun me because I hadn’t been in so long? Or even do I look fatter then before? =(
Well needless to say I got my courage up and we started going to the gym again this week. It had been so long since we went that I didn’t realize that somewhere/somehow I misplaced all of our membership cards that I had on a lanyard. We called the gym to see if anyone had found them or maybe someone was using them and then they told me it had been 19 days since I had been in. 19 DAYS!!! Almost 3 weeks since I had stepped foot in the gym. I couldn’t even believe it. Along with that I don’t even know what week this is for me, all I know is I started Jan. 1 and I just have to keep pushing forward.
I’m hoping that now that things have calmed down here quite a bit I will be able to get back to my weekly check ins with you 😉
