For years now I have enjoyed growing vegetables and herbs for my family. It feels great to be able to walk outside and grab a vegetable we have grown from seed and know that they are free from chemicals.  I also consider myself prepared for a disaster or emergency if one should arise. Recently I had the opportunity to review the Complete Survival Seeds Pack by Grow For It! I was pretty excited because I love anything that has to do with gardening and growing our own food.

I have purchased survival seeds in the past and I have to say these are by far the best I have ever received. They arrived quickly and I was super happy to see that all the seeds were separated into their own packages. Ones that I have dealt with before only said what was included in the separate packages but with these they are marked with what they are and even how many seeds are in each package!

They are Non-GMO, Non-Hybrid, 100% Organic and Open-Pollinated. They also have a Lifetime Satisfaction Guarantee and a FREE Downloadable PDF Guide for Planting and Storing Your Seeds.

Although I do fairly well with flowers and things like that, I have a brown thumb when it comes to vegetables. That is one of the things that I have not developed the never give up attitude about.

  • Martine – MeUnfinished

OOH! I love that the seeds came in their respective packets! I have been wanting to grow my own vegetables for a long time, but alas! I am renting my home for now. When I have my own yard, I will be sure to try my hand at growing my own vegetables 🙂

I have never heard of this, but it is a wonderful idea. Thank you for sharing! I’ll look into this.

  • Lynndee

We have a community garden here, but I think we haven’t tried planting organic vegetables yet. I will share this with our neighbors.

  • Ann Bacciaglia

I need to get prepared for an emergency. You never know when something could happen and we are left to fend for ourselves. I love this seed pack idea. I will have to order a few for my family.

I wish I taught early on to appreciate these kinds of things. I don’t have a garden & my Mom wasn’t also the gardening type when I was growing up. I like the idea though of the survival seeds. I also like that there’s a guide on how to store them – that will really be helpful.

I do this too every year from my produce. It’s cheaper that way and it gies you pride that the one you are growing is purely yours.

I don’t have a garden, but I’ve been growing my own herbs and a few vegetables in pots. Those seeds are interesting. I really wish I have a garden, so I can plant all the vegetables we love.

  • Katarina

Adorable packages! I never plan in advance, but I might do that. Seems like my mom would be interested in this post, gotta show it to her!

I’ve been wanting to grow my own veggie.. I grew some tomato plants and did pretty well but my zucchini plants didn’t produce anything.

I have not heard of these before. We try to garden but with how much we travel it seems to never go over well.

  • Stacie @ Divine Lifestyle

That is fantastic! Now I’ll definitely be prepared for the zombie apocalypse.

  • Jeanette

I would love to learn what to do to plant and keep plants alive! I kill everything I touch LOL! Great batch survival seeds is a good way to go!

  • Robin (Masshole Mommy)

I like to think I am prepared, but if something were to happen, I really don’t know. I guess what I have is better than nothing, right?
