Back To School; Pay It Forward Event *Sponsored*

I just recently was able to participate in a Pay It Forward Back to School Event and could not have been any more excited. So first of all a Special Thanks to Campus Book Rentals for sponsoring this great Event!

About the Sponsor:

Campus Book Rentals is a company that offers students up to 90% off their textbooks! It not only allows students to save money, it helps students make
money by providing services for students to rent out their textbooks to other students. Campus Book Rentals has been around since 2007, and continues to help
students live a more affordable life. Campus Book Rentals is proud to sponsor such an amazing pay it forward event!

Our Family loves Walmart for their low prices so we packed up the 5 kiddos and took them with us so they could experience this great Pay It Forward Event as well. We were given $25 to buy as much school supplies as we could along with a backpack. Upon arriving and realizing exactly how low and great the deals were, my husband and I decided that we should help not only one child but two! =) My kiddos had fun picking out the backpacks that they thought other kids their age would like. We decided to get a boy and a girl themed backpack and fill them up with the same exact supplies for each. The total ended up being $25.05, I think that is pretty good! We were able to get 2 backpacks, 6 pocket folders, 4 notebooks, 2 boxes of markers, 2 boxes of crayons, 2 boxes of colored pencils, 2 packs of pencils, 2 packages of glue sticks, 2 pencil sharpeners, 2 packages of scissors, and 2 pencil boxes. I have to say that is a great deal! =)

The next step was to figure out a couple of kiddos or organizations that could really use these backpacks. Being part of this Pay It Forward Event really hit close to home for our family. We ourselves have had to have extra help with school supplies before so I thought it would be a great idea to donate the backpacks to the same organization that helped my family in the past. Penquis Cap has a lot of different organizations that help people in the area and every year you can sign up for a free backpack for your child/ren. I was honored to be able to give back to them and they were very pleased and appreciative. We really enjoyed being part of this Event.

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. I received $25 to purchase school supplies and donate to a family/organization in need.
