“WEMAKE7 was not compensated for this post. We did however receive a Robot Turtles Board Game for free to review. All opinions are our own.”
All my kiddos love games and board games are on the top of their favorites. We currently own a few ThinkFun games and were excited to review Robot Turtles, the game for little programmers.
Robot Turtles (Ages 4 and up, MSRP: $25.00)
Invented by Dan Shapiro comes the most backed board game in Kickstarter history sneakily teaches preschoolers the fundamentals of programming, from coding to functions, while making silly turtle noises! Takes seconds to learn, minutes to play and provides endless learning opportunities. Before you know it, your little one will be writing computer games rather than just playing them!
Our youngest is too young to play this particular game so my older kids played. Set up was very easy. It does mention in the booklet since an adult plays as well that it’s a good idea to go over everything before starting. The adult player acts as the computer moving the pieces on the board for the kiddos when they choose their cards they want to use. What I thought was cute about this game was the fact when the pieces get moved the adult player is to make turtle noises. The kids loved that!
Another great part of this game that I think is great is that it is not a competition, everyone wins by getting to their jewel. It’s also a great game for learning. The kids really enjoy this game and have played it a lot since we have gotten it.
Thanks for stopping by! =)
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
