Early Learning Colors and Shapes Monkey by The Learning Journey

Do you have a kiddo that loves monkeys and loves singing? My little guy does and loves his new Learn Colors & Shapes Monkey by The Learning Journey.

About The Learning Journey

The Learning Journey has been designing and manufacturing an exclusive line of award-winning children’s interactive education products. All products at The Learning Journey encourage learning and develop confidence as they enhance a child’s potential. All products build on the skills necessary for children to be prepared for school and beyond.

We recently received the Early Learning Colors and Shapes Monkey to review. As soon as my little guy saw the monkey he was grinning ear to ear. He personally loves anything to do with monkeys and I knew he would also love that it makes sounds. This learning toy is for ages 18+ (my little guy is 2) and is great for teaching colors and shapes. One mode says the shape and color when pressed and the other mode plays different music when pressing each shape. All buttons flash and the monkey has a built-in auto shut-off.

My little guy loves this monkey. He smiles every time he plays the music and hears the colors and shapes being said. My son is currently in Speech therapy and I have noticed that he is talking more by repeating what the monkey is saying and is doing really well when I ask him to point to each shape.

Since my daughter was born, we got a lot of stuff from birthdays and other events. I always loved educational toys. That kind of toy helps a lot in children’s ability to learn about shapes, and colors too. It’s great to see he’s having fun playing with it. 🙂
