You wouldn’t believe the changes that I have done around my home to not only make things safer for my kiddos but myself as well. For years I must have been in the dark and had no clue the potential dangers that was lurking in the food we ate or even the products we used. For the last few years I have been learning a lot and slowly transitioning to new products and foods that are safer. That’s one the biggest reasons why I love working with Moms Meet because I get to review and learn about new safer products to introduce to my family.
This time around I’m reviewing the Botanique Complete Care Toothpaste line by Himalaya.
Himalaya is a family owned company founded in 1930 and offers a full line of clinically studied herbal formulations, certified USDA organic pure herbs, and body care products. Himalaya Botanique approaches oral care a little bit differently by using an invigorating blend of Neem, Pomegranate, Triphala and Xylitol to leave your mouth feeling fresh.
If you’re not familiar with these ingredients, here is a little breakdown of them.
- Neem– Cleans teeth and gives the formulation its sparkle.
- Pomegranate– An astringent fruit extract that helps support healthy-looking gums.
- Triphala– A traditional detox formula composed of three myrobalan fruits for clean teeth and radiant smiles.
- Xylitol from Birch tree– Clinically studied to support good oral hygiene and also a tooth-friendly sweetener.
With regular brushing, these toothpastes help remove plaque, maintain white teeth and supports healthy-looking gums. Their full line of flavors include: Whitening Complete Care Simply Peppermint and Simply Mint, Complete Care Simply Peppermint, Simply Mint, Simply Cinnamon, Simply Spearmint and the Original Neem and Pomegranate.
These toothpastes are Carrageenan Free, SLS Free, Gluten Free and Fluoride Free and retail for $5.99.
We’ve been using these toothpastes for a few weeks now and really like them a lot. They have a pleasant taste (no we are not eating it lol) and they seem to really work well at cleaning our teeth and freshening our breath. This is a product that I know I will be sticking to and using now and in the future.
