8 weeks! It’s been 8 weeks since I started a new way of eating and a new way of life in order to lose weight and feel great. Last week was a little tough for me because I was starting to feel a little depressed and after gaining a pound it just added more misery to my week.
The beginning of my week 8 I again got sick, this time I was sick for about 3 days! No one else got sick and I have no idea what happened. My stomach hurt so bad and I couldn’t eat and I was in the bathroom every 15 minutes. I called my doc on day 2 and the nurse on the phone asked if it could be my IBS and to be blunt that really teed me off because I wouldn’t waste my time calling if it was IBS! It felt as though I picked up some yucky bug and got really sick from it.
Eventually I started to feel better towards the middle of the week but felt very weak and was not able to exercise this past week. I did get some really nice organic yoga products to start learning yoga because it’s something I really want to do. Hoping this week I will start feeling more energetic and get back to business.
Even though I was sick at the beginning of the week things turned out to be okay. My husbands numbers when checking his blood sugar are still staying lower than they had been which is great. This week I lost 4 lbs and my husband stayed the same. Total weight loss to date for me, 26 lbs!!! My husband 5 lbs! Total weight loss together 31. =) I don’t think I have shard my actually weight numbers because I hate my weight but I went from 283 lbs to 257 since January 1st of this year so I’m pretty happy. =)
In closing I hope to feel more energetic this week to exercise more, hoping we get some more warm days like we have been and get outside more and continue this new life journey.
