I myself try not to skip breakfast because I know it’s a very important meal to help me start my day. Normally I grab something quick but this time of year I want something to warm my belly and keep me fuller longer. That is why I turn to steel cut oats from Bob’s Red Mill. You can do so much with their oats because they are so versatile.

I personally love pairing mine with my favorite yogurt from Stonyfield! 😉

They are high in soluble fiber and protein and make a great healthy breakfast. Add a little bit of coconut sugar to sweeten, top with some yummy yogurt and even add some fresh berries too. The possibilities are endless!

Not only have I been enjoying the oats but my kiddos have as well. They had never had steel cut oats before and really enjoyed them. I can’t wait to check out some recipes that include oats and make them for my family as well.

What would you pair with your oats and yogurt? Tell me in the comments below.

That sounds like a lovely breakfast! Oatmeal is my go-to breakfast during busy morning because it’s so easy to put together. Plus you can add fresh fruits as well.

Steel Cut oats are my favorite kind of oats, I could eat them daily! My mom uses coconut sugar and I’ve tried it a few times at her house and liked it. This makes me want to pick some up!

You know I have to say my kids don’t take change well. I once made oatmeal this way with steel cut oats, fruit and maple syrup and they turned their noses up at it and wanted the packets instead. Go figure! But I might give this a try again.
