Hot Dots

A Special Thanks to Educational Insights for providing me their wonderful product to review on my blog. =)

We were sent the Hot Dots Let’s Master Reading Grade 1 Set to review. Educational Insights carry both Reading and Math sets for grades Pre-K to 3rd grade. Our set came with 2 books with 85 Interactive Lessons plus 15 Advanced Lessons and the Interactive Talking Hot Dots Pen. The skills that are covered for her grade (1) are Phonics, Sight Words and Reading Comprehension.

These sets are cool and both my daughter and I were excited to review this fun set. I love how it works on the same skills she is working on at school right now and Hot Dots makes it easier and way more fun. =) I think my daughters favorite part was the Hot Dots pen. It’s colorful and has buttons to change volume settings and talking modes. The circle near the top of the pen changes color to either Green (when the answer is correct) or Red (when you need to try again because the answer is wrong).

My daughter loves using Hot Dots and I love that she is learning and having fun. It will also help her with the skills she needs for next year.
