I just can’t get over how long Winter has lasted for us where we live. The snow just finally melted and I’ve been waiting like crazy to see the sun. It’s Spring but around here the weather has no clue! We have all been cooped up way to long and the kiddos have been getting restless. Knowing that eventually the weather will warm up we have been getting the kiddos used to not being inside all the time playing on their video games and electronics!

Everyday we make it a point to spend some time outdoors and since Spring and Summer weather make it great to enjoy popsicles, we came up with a new tasty treat for the kiddos to enjoy outdoors. Our family loves soda and has been enjoying Zevia soda for a while now. It has zero calories, has no artificial sweeteners and no sugar. They offer so many delicious flavors, grape being one of my favorites! =)

  • Your favorite can(s) of  Zevia soda
  • Coconut Flakes

Making these popsicles is way to easy!

Pour your favorite Zevia soda flavor in your popsicle tray. Add coconut flakes and put the tray in the freezer overnight.

Popsicles-Zevia As soon as they are frozen all the way it’s time for the kiddos (and adults too) to enjoy this cool tasty treat.

Connect with Zevia on their Website, Facebook and Twitter.

How are you freshening up your parent approach in anticipation of time spent outdoors this Spring?

I actually have never tried making my own ice pops. However, I’ll probably do sometime soon!

  • Lynndee

  • Rosey

I was thinking when I was reading that I’d like that too, not just the kids. Then I saw at the end where you said that too. 🙂 These do look tasty.

I’ve never heard of this kind of soda. I don’t see it in our local stores, but it sure does look good. I like this recipe especially for the hot days we have coming our way very soon.

I used to drink way too much soda but had to give it up due to all of the sugar. Now that there are brands like Zevia out there that cut out the sugar (and calories), maybe I’ll pop a top again!
