Hey everyone! How was your week? Mine was okay for the most part but I think I’m addicted! Ya there was a time in my life that I was addicted to food! All sorts of food like chips, burgers, pizza, lemonade, oh and dip, lots of dip!! It’s no wonder I ballooned so fast and gained so much weight over the past couple of years. Today though I’m addicted to something else, and I think it’s a good thing. I’m addicted to going to the gym!!! Anyone that knows me personally would probably be saying ya right! There are days that I’m hitting the gym twice a day no kidding. Every time I go and work out I feel sooo good afterwards. Before I go, not so much but I love going so I just go with the flow, get exercising and as I’m walking out the door I feel great!
This month we made a new menu for the entire month and all agreed on meals we liked that didn’t take as long as meals we made the last month. Now that we are eating better and different, meal preparation takes a long time because we are doing it from scratch as much as we can. It’s been a learning process but we have figured out some really healthy meals that don’t take half a day to prepare lol.
Also this week I saw my Physical Therapist about my knee and back and will be starting appointments weekly to help my knee but because of my arthritis my back will never be okay but he said he can help with some of my pain hopefully. I’m hoping as I lose more weight and continue with exercise I will start to feel better all over. =)
I do have to say I feel a lot better than the end of last year. I still feel like my brain is a little foggy at times but my energy level seems better and I find myself being able to do more. My husband checked his blood sugar today even though he should be doing it daily and had a great reading, so I bet someday soon he won’t even need his oral meds for Diabetes.
Okay, I’ll stop rambling now lol for those that are curious to how we did this week for our weekly weigh in. I lost 4 lbs this week bringing me to a total weight loss of 30 lbs in 10 weeks!!! Yeehaa and my hubby is down 2 lbs since last week bringing his total loss 5lbs!
