Hey everyone! 😉 Did you plant a garden this year that brought you tons of Kale? Lately we have harvested soo much Kale I almost ran out of ideas on what to use it for. I really don’t like it plain in a salad so I have been using it in soups and sautéed instead. Last night one of my kiddos asked if we could make Kale chips and they turned out pretty good.
My kiddos always have so much fun going outside to the garden with me to harvest veggies. Knowing that everything started with a seed is so amazing to them. 😉 First off we gathered some Kale and got our ingredients together.
This recipe is super simple only needing Kale, Salt if you prefer to use and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Wash your Kale really good and pat dry with a clean towel or paper towel. Pull off Kale leaves from their long stems and rip apart to make smaller pieces but not too small.
Place Kale pieces in a large bowl and pour 4 tablespoons of Olive Oil over the Kale and mix well by hand or spoon. Transfer to baking pan and sprinkle salt on top of Kale pieces.
Bake at 350 degrees until the Kale have darkened and gotten smaller in size.
Remove from oven, let cool and enjoy.
Have you ever made Kale Chips before? What other recipes have you used Kale in? Please tell me in the comments. 😉
