Manhattan Toy Review =)

A very Special Thanks to Manhattan Toy Company for providing me some great toys to review on my blog.

It’s that time of year again to start thinking about holiday shopping if you haven’t started already ūüėČ I was sent a few different items from Manhattan Toy company that would make excellent gifts for any occasion especially this holiday season.

Who is Manhattan Toy? Manhattan Toys was founded in 1982 by Francis Goldwyn (grandson of motion picture studio owner Sam Goldwyn), Manhattan Toy pioneered the use of non-traditional fabrics in toy design and introduced delightful new body styles in soft toys. Thirteen years later, The Manhattan Toy Company moved to the heart of the Minneapolis warehouse district where it thrives today.  So, although Goldwyn is no longer involved in the ownership of Manhattan Toy, they remain true to his vision of marching to the beat of a different (toy) drum.

We were sent the Imagine I Can Sew Sweet, ¬†Roll Along Bear Shape Sorter, Imagine I Can Creative Color Sticker Clings¬†and¬†the¬†Dr. Suess “The Grinch” in Santa Suit.

The Imagine I can Sew Sweet is a great set that contains a lot of supplies to help with those first sewing projects for you kiddo. It includes felt, beads, scissors, needles and more.. It comes in a cute tin carrying case that is perfect to keep all their supplies in. My oldest daughter absolutely loves arts and crafts so she couldn’t wait to get into this kit and get creative. =)

If you have a little one at home that has just started to walk or has been walking for some time now; you should really consider the Roll-Along-Bear Shape Sorter. It is perfect for Toddlers and comes with 4 different wooden shapes and a pull string that is just the right length for your little one to pull along. It features a non-toxic, water based finish which is great to know because Manhattan Toy company¬†DOES care about toy safety and sometimes you just don’t know what can be found in toys today.

Our little guy has never had a pull-along toy until now but he seemed to know right what to do as soon as I took it out of the box. =) We showed him how the shapes went into the holes and now he is having a blast walking all over with this toy and putting shapes into their corresponding holes. This is a great toy and helps with learning shapes. Would make a great gift for any Toddler.

My smiling princess is just like me and loves stickers and butterflies so when she saw that she was going to be able to review the Imagine I Can Creative Color Sticker Clings she wanted to open the kit immediately! =) These kits contain everything you need to make unique stickers that can be reused and stick to many different surfaces. It contains templates, glue, confetti and more.. It also comes in a very cute tin case that will keep all your supplies together.

I was a little in disbelief when my daughter had finished the butterfly sticker and I couldn’t figure out how this wet glue and confetti was supposed to get hard enough to use as a sticker but as soon as the 10 hours had passed I had to believe it.¬†It was perfect, the butterfly¬†came out beautiful and my daughter has been placing it on all sorts of places and it works. This is a great arts and crafts project for any kiddos ages 6 and up. Even my older kids had fun making stickers after they seen how great it worked. This kit is something I definitely would purchase in the future.

Christmas if my favorite holiday of the year and I bet my kiddos would say the same. =) We love watching Christmas movies and one of the movies my children like watching every year is Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas.¬†Dr. Seuss “The Grinch” In Santa Suit¬†is actually a pretty cute plush toy if you ask me lol. My little guy must think the same too because as soon as I took it out of the box he held his hands out and hugged him as soon as I passed him over. It was so cute. <3 It is so soft and huggable and even my older children want to take turns hanging out with the “Grinch” ūüėČ

All of these toys are amazing! They all would make really great gifts for your loved ones. You can learn more about Manhattan Toy and purchase these same toys by visiting the following link at You can also find them on FACEBOOK and TWITTER.
