I love yogurt and luckily my entire family loves it too! It makes great snacks, dips, is a great substitute to sour cream and more! My favorite brand of yogurt is Stonyfield and for many reasons. Not only does their yogurt taste divine but they are USDA Organic as well. Their products are made without artificial hormones, toxic persistent pesticides and GMOs. Just recently they added 2 new yogurts to the Stonyfield family which include Stonyfield Whole Milk Greek Yogurt and Stonyfield Grassfed yogurt and let me tell you they taste sooo good! =)
When I first heard of 100% grassfed I was a little confused. It made me wonder what the other cows were eating that contributed to Stonyfield’s other organic yogurt products. The difference between the two is organic cows (organic standards) graze and pasture at least 120 days in the year. They are also fed organic grains and oats. The 100% Pennsylvania Certified Organic Grassfed cows eat all grass, all year round bringing us 100% grassfed yogurt products. =)
Everyone in our family loves the rich and unique flavor of this new yogurt. Yogurt never lasts too long in our home because everyone loves it so much. I was able to enjoy the Strawberry one though and love it. I’m hoping they hit shelves near me soon.
Another new yogurt that hit shelves early this year was Stonyfield’s Organic Whole Milk Greek Yogurt. Some have cute little sidecars (shown below) full of yummy organic fruit that allows you to add a little or all of the fruit to your yogurt. They have a few different flavors so far that include plain, vanilla bean, cherry, honey, strawberry, and blueberry.
These new whole milk yogurts taste really good too. I love using the whole milk plain yogurt for dips as a substitute to sour cream. For my daughters sweet 16 this month we made some yummy fresh fruit cups with some of the organic greek whole milk yogurt and everyone loved it.
