Organic Matcha- Green Tea Powder Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

A Special Thanks to Kiss Me Organics for sending me Organic Matcha to review on my blog. =)

If you’re not familiar with Organic Matcha let me tell you a little bit about it. It’s a green tea powder that has multiple benefits. It can be used in Lattes, Smoothies and Baking. It’s All Natural & Organic which means it is free from chemicals and preservatives to keep you healthy.

Matcha provides 4 to 6 hours of mild steady energy as it acts as both a stimulant and a relaxant. This is ideal for focusing on whatever the day throws your way.

Consuming matcha green tea can increase thermogenesis (the body’s own rate of burning calories) from a normal 8%-10% of daily energy expenditure, to between 35% and 43% of daily energy expenditure.

Scientists have discovered that Matcha Green Tea helps protect the skin from harmful UVrays, while improving blood flow and oxygen levels lifting the overall quality of the skin.

Antioxidants are essential as you age to boost your body’s natural defenses against oxidation. Researchers have found that a high level of dietary antioxidants can prevent many age-related diseases.

I was pretty excited to review Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder from Kiss Me Organics because I had never heard of such a thing before. I’m trying to better my life and slowly replacing food and products to a more organic and healthier approach. I decided to try it in smoothies. I added a 1/2 tsp of the Organic Matcha (they recommend 1/2-1 tsp per day), 1/2 banana, a cup of yogurt and 1/4 cup milk in a blender and blended until smooth. It tastes great in the smoothies I have made. I like how it makes me feel more energetic during the day. My memory is always in a fog and I have a problem with memory sometimes so I am really hoping that the antioxidants found in the Matcha will help with my short and long-term memory.

This is a great product and something I will continue to use. You can learn more by visiting You can purchase Organic Matcha by visiting

Interesting product. I brew green tea daily. I really love that it gave you mild energy and not the shaky. Improved skin health adds to its attraction for me . I will definitely be checking out this product. Thanks

I am OBSESSED with Matcha! Starbucks uses matcha (mixed with lotsa sugar) for their green tea frappucchinos. That is the only thing I order there.

Personally I prefer the “real” thing…using matcha at home! It can get pricey though…a local store sells it at $7 an ounce. But for an occasional treat it’s not bad 😉
