My kiddos love to play and toys and crafts are their favorite! They are always building things and wanting to pull out the craft bin. When I had the opportunity to work with MindWare Toys I knew they would be excited.
MindWare is a creator, manufacturer, and distributer of Brainy Toys for people of all ages. They offer so many items including puzzles, arts and crafts, mazes, games, coloring books, books and so much more. Over the years MindWare has received many awards.
Knowing my son loves to build and loves animals I chose the Wild Ways Stacking Wooden Animals to review.
Wild Ways Stacking Wooden Animals: Set of 2
First off, the packaging of these sets are super cute. They are really colorful and can be used to keep the blocks in when not being used. (as long as you don’t take the plastic piece off on the side of the box) 😉
In each set of 2, it includes stacking monkeys and stacking elephants.
Both kinds of animals pieces are chunky pieces and easy to hold. The colors are really fun and pretty. Pieces contain both solid colors and really cool pattern designs on them.
My youngest boy couldn’t wait to start playing with his new blocks. Since he likes building things from the floor up we realized that he needed something flat to build these on (rugs don’t work too well holding them up). He grabbed his little tin box and started building. 😉 I love that these blocks help him learn about balance.
The second item we got to review was Paint Your Own Porcelain Plates. My youngest daughter loves being creative with paint and when she saw this box she got super excited.
Paint Your Own Porcelain: Plates
I was very happy with the box overall. The plates were not damaged on their way here. Everything was packaged very well inside. It came with 2 plates, 12 paint colors, 2 brushes, 2 display stands and instructions.
The paints were the easiest paints I have ever opened for my kiddos. After setting up a place to start painting, my daughter decided what she wanted to paint and started right in. She was most excited that after 24 hours after she painted it we got to bake the plate in the oven to set the paint.
Her plate came out really pretty and is displayed on our living room mantle.
