“Rearz” Cloth Diaper Review

A Special Thanks to Rearz Inc. for providing me a Smitten Cloth Diaper to Review on my blog!

I love anything that has to do with cloth diapering my son so I was happy to know I would be receiving this wonderful fitted diaper to review. I hadn’t heard of Rearz before so I was very curious about them. =) Rearz is a Canadian brand that began its journey in September 2005 by a WAHM under the brand EcoBumz and then as Rearz since 2008. They make products for cloth diapering your child, mama cloth and even adult diapers/covers too.  A great interesting fact that I learned about their company is they deal directly with fabric producers overseas; to ensure fair wage, fair trade and anti-child labour practices are in effect. =)

The Smitten Cloth Diaper is a fitted diaper meaning you need to use a waterproof cover over it. The one I reviewed has snap buttons but they also carry the velcro as well. I actually prefer the button snaps over the velcro because my little guy has learned to take his diaper off so it’s a little harder for him to take off with the buttons. 😉 They come in 5 different colors (brown, orange, yellow, red, and green) They are very soft and have the fold out tongue as pictured in the top photo which actually speeds up drying time, which is great! They also have an opening in the rear of the diaper so you can add an extra insert for more absorbancy. We haven’t had to use an extra insert yet but it’s nice to know that if need be we can do that. We don’t have many cloth diaper covers because we normally use AIO’s but we love wool so those have become our diaper covers to this diaper and our other fitteds. This diaper has worked very well and is VERY absorbant. It fits my son well and it is so cute!

I highly recommend Rearz to anyone that is cloth diapering or thinking about cloth. You can learn more about Rearz Inc and their other products as well by clicking HERE.
