Christmas is just around the corner and boy do I have a great gift idea for you. 😉 Do you have a kiddo that loves trains? My little boy loves playing with trains and I know he is going to be so happy when he finds a Whittle Shortline Railroad Toy Train Set under the tree this year.
The Whittle Shortline Railroad is a family owned, 20 year old, wooden toy train company. They hand craft realistic toy trains that are COMPATIBLE with Thomas, Brio and Chuggington. Their toy trains are modeled after real trains you would see in your neighborhood. As a part of their 20th anniversary they released over 20 new trains in August of 2016. In December 2016 they will begin a program of releasing a new train each month and expanding their offerings to trains around the world! They also have a train magazine coming out in 2017.
When I got my package I couldn’t wait to peek inside. The train set was neatly packaged and all the trains were safe and perfect. Each train was in their own packaging with a Whittle Shortline Railroad sticker on each.
The details to the trains are very nice and what I love the most about these trains are they are made with child safe paints and finishes. They are also handcrafted from start to finish which I think is another great feature.
I think these train sets would make an excellent gift for a kiddo in your life this holiday season. They offer other mixed train sets to choose from as well if your kiddo likes something different than the one I featured.
