Barleans, Stonyfield, Omega, Omega 3, Super Omega, outmeal, fruit, recipe, fish oil, organic, organic yogurt, berries, chia, coconut, healthyI’m always finding ways to feed my family more healthy and nutritious foods but at the same time I want them to enjoy what they are eating as well. Sometimes incorporating “healthy” gets me groans from the kiddos because they think it’s plain and boring or don’t like the taste of it. I have always wanted to try products from Barlean’s but was hesitant because I wasn’t sure if my family (mainly my kiddos) would eat it.

Barleans, Stonyfield, Omega, Omega 3, Super Omega, outmeal, fruit, recipe, fish oil, organic, organic yogurt, berries, chia, coconut, healthyJust recently I was sent a great variety of products from Barlean’s and fell in love immediately. Barlean’s is a family owned and operated company that has been in business since 1989! They are also manufacturers of America’s best-selling Omega-3 supplements. They offer many products like Fish Oil, Total Omega, Forti-Flax, Coconut Oil and more.

Barleans, Stonyfield, Omega, Omega 3, Super Omega, outmeal, fruit, recipe, fish oil, organic, organic yogurt, berries, chia, coconut, healthyI couldn’t wait to make something for my family using some of these products to see what they thought. I personally wanted to try the fish oil because I have used fish oil in the past and always had those yucky fishy burps after. I have heard that Barlean’s doesn’t cause those fishy burps so I wanted to see for myself. To my amazement the fish oil swirls smell nothing like fish at all or even taste like it either.

Next it was time to add some “healthy” to my kiddos oatmeal so I made them a little treat to see what they thought.

I think fruit yogurt is probably the way to go. I’ve not had yogurt in many years. As I work to improve my eating habits I know I need to give it a try again.
