Hey all you moms and dads! The holidays are soon approaching and soon it will be Christmas before you know it. Do you have young kiddos that love playing video games but you’d rather see them more active? The LeapTV by LeapFrog is a win-win situation for both parents and kiddos. Not only can kids play games but at the same time they are learning and staying active.
LeapTV is an educational gaming system that combines body-motion, traditional gaming, and education content, for a good-for-them gaming experience that gets kids up and active while they learn and play with favorite characters like Anna and Elsa, Blaze and the Letter Factory Frogs. It has a library of 100+ LeapFrog educator-approved game cartridges, game downloads and videos, kids will never run out of fun!
Just recently the kiddos were excited to learn that we got a new LeapTV and some really cool new games and they couldn’t wait to play them. We received Disney Frozen Arendelle’s Winter Festival, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Letter Factory Adventures and Doodlecraft.
About the games above:
- Arendelle’s Winter Festival puts mathematics skills in motion for children ages 4-7 years. Playing solo or with a friend, the curriculum grows with each child at their level. Teaches: counting, addition, subtraction, place value, 2D and 3D recognition and number sequence.
- Build your world with DoodleCraft: Craft, explore and customize a world with the Mr. Pencil Presents DoodleCraft game! Get creative designing the ultimate island destination. Ages 4 to 7. Teaches: creative expression, art & drawing, spatial reasoning, and sorting & classifying.
- Blaze and the Monster Machines: puts science, technology, engineering and STEM skills in motion for children ages 3-5 years. The controller becomes a virtual steering wheel to put technology and engineering in motion to outmaneuver obstacles. Teaches: number recognition, physical science, simply machines and problem solving.
- Letter Factory Adeventure: Jump inside the Letter Factory Adventure game with Tad and Lily to take a train ride from A to Z. Play mini-games, build words, customize an alphabet book and more. Designed for ages 3-5 years. Teaches: the alphabet, phonics, word building and spelling.
Setting up the LeapTV was really simple and took no time at all. My kiddos were able to pick and choose which background and character they wanted for their accounts so they liked that a lot. They have been really enjoying playing and as you can see below my little guy really loves playing Blaze and the Monster Machines.
The LeapTV and games would make such an excellent gift this holiday season and at their low price of just $59.99 and the games at $19.99 it’s quite a deal!
