Where did the time go?!! Weight Loss Journey Week 21, 22 & 23!!

Where oh where did the time go? Days just fly by so fast it’s so hard to believe at times. I now find myself having to throw 3 weeks of weight loss posts into 1 this week which I dislike doing because I like sharing with my readers how my week has gone but at least I’m still holding myself accountable and posting anyway even if it is late.

The past 3 weeks have been rough for me. I suffer from depression and it happens most days then not and the past few weeks I have been off my game. Some personal things have been going on and I just gave up on counting calories and watching what I ate. I did continue to go to the gym though because I knew if I gave up on everything that I would not come back to my journey for a long time…

I am proud to say that I was contacted and made aware that my blog made it under the top 100 weight loss blogs of 2016 so pretty stoked about that. I also have become an ambassador for Katie K Active and can’t wait to share my first post. I have started again the beginning of this week using my fitbit to track what I’m eating and have increased my gym activity more than I was the past few weeks. I did have gains this past 3 weeks but have found after weighing in this morning I have lost those lbs I gained and have brought myself back to 237 which I was in week 20 and still down 46 lbs this year. Now to keep moving forward!! =)

    Sometimes I feel like I am on a never ending weight loss journey. I had worked on losing weight all last year but then gained back some of the weight over the holidays/winter so now I am trying to lose the weight that I gained back.

    Pretty much everyone experiences slips here and there, it’s totally normal. However, the only time it’s not okay if you quit altogether. You didn’t, so like you said, just keep moving forward and imagine yourself at your ideal weight. You’ll get to it!

    I had good spots and bad through my weight loss. Blogging it this last time really did help keep me accountable, but I also found myself catching up for a few weeks at a time sometimes.

    Congrats that is quite the accomplishment to be that high on weight loss blogs!! Hold your head up losing weight through depression is not easy to do stick with it.

    Any journey of this magnitude has its ups and down. Whether it’s a weight loss journey or a physical journey, I’ve found that the key is to keep your eyes on the horizon and keep putting one foot in front of the other.

    Sorry to hear about your depression, but that is great that you acknowledge it and didn’t stop your exercise journey. I’ve been on many weight loss journeys throughout my adult life. It’s a tough cycle.
