I’m pretty excited for this week coming up for everyone involved actually. =) The kiddos are heading back to school and ready to get back in the routine of seeing their school friends and meeting new ones. I am excited because today I have set aside food to donate and went out and bought new groceries for the house that is healthier for us. I got rid of all food and drinks that are processed and full of crap. Along with this new change, I am excited to finally being able to work on ME!!!!
With the 4 oldest kids being in school during the week I now will have time to exercise and plan meals better without having to rush into making something fast. I hate how I feel when I wake up every morning not having energy to do much. I’m very curious to how everyone is going to feel after eating healthier food and not eating certain foods that we have been. I have a feeling that we will probably feel ten times better!
Over this Summer I have really let myself go. I’ve been battling with my weight for years now and it was so hard this past Summer to be able to do my work out tapes or count calories and all that. Ya ya I know, excuses excuses. My hubby always jokes that my favorite saying is “Tomorrow”, yep tomorrow I will start my diet or eat better.
A few years ago I was at a very heavy weight and wearing a size 20/22. I had lost 80lbs and went down to a size 6. ( This picture above on the right was probably me wearing a size 12,not exactly sure though ) Unfortunately over the past 2 or 3 years I have put it all back on and then some! =( I’m not proud of that and pretty ashamed actually. I feel so out of shape and get out of breath so easy. I know it’s because of my weight and because of the food I eat. I’m really hoping after changing the food in the house and eating better and getting more exercise that I can get back to where I was before and feel better and healthier.
I will be tracking my journey and hope you will follow along in the coming months to see how I’m doing.
