Hey everyone and thanks for stopping by to see how our week 3 went for my husband and I in our weight loss journey 2015. For those that haven’t been following since the beginning of the year, my husband and I started our journey together in hopes of not only losing weight but to get healthy and hopefully get rid of some health problems we currently experience. Every week I post about our progress from the previous week and our weigh-in results. Every first of the month we are taking photos to share our progress as well.
For myself I have a lot of weight to lose, a 125 lb weight loss is my goal. My husband doesn’t really need to lose too much but since he’s a diabetic it’s a great idea for him to eat better and stay away from sugar.
This past week I have started to incorporate some exercise into my day. I have found that I can exercise every evening and have been doing so almost every day. My husband has been doing his own thing by using an ab roller and doing push-ups, sit-ups etc and I have always had great luck doing exercise tapes. One of my favorite exercise tapes is Rockin’ Body. They have a few different tapes and some get pretty intense. I’ve been doing the easier ones and pretty proud of myself for being able to exercise a little since it has been so long since I have done so.
We have still continued to eat healthy and use as many fruit and vegetables each day in our meals as we can. I love making new recipes for my family and love that they enjoy them.
The results from our third week are.. I’m down 3.6 lbs and my husband is actually up 1 lb this week. My total weight loss to date is 12.6 lbs and my husband 4 lbs.
My goals for this week are to increase exercise and maybe eat a little less at each meal time.
