Wow! Another week has passed me by again. I have to say that I am pretty proud of myself and my husband for really changing the way we eat and moving forward no matter what gets thrown in our way. I just can’t believe that we have made it to 9 weeks! I think that is the longest we have stuck to anything regarding our weight loss journey and goals. Not that I’m saying we haven’t messed up here and there along the way but the difference this time is not continuing with the bad ways.
I’m super excited this week because at the end of last week we got a family membership to the YMCA. I hadn’t been to a gym in years and even though I was nervous and scared of going, I was excited to! The first time we went someone showed us around and showed us all the gym equipment and how to use them. They are super nice there and make you feel welcome. I was worried at first about being overweight and being the biggest person there but quickly learned that no one is there to judge you, they are doing their own thing and who gives a shit? =) So I’m pretty syked about this new membership and even tonight I took my oldest daughter with me and at first she was reluctant but at the end of the night she had gotten on 4 different machines.
Also this past week I have gotten myself addicted to unsweetened iced tea from Dunkin Donuts (okay well unsweetened with a package of Splenda). All I normally drink is water so every once in a while I like something different. It’s definitely not my iced coffee with extra sugar and extra cream but since I have decided to not have those anymore the unsweetened tea is my new treat.
With all the excitement for this week your probably thinking I had a good week weight loss wise? Well I guess I didn’t have a bad or a good week actually. I didn’t lose nor gain and I’m happy with that outcome. There is always next week and I know I will certainly lose. Either way I’m still down 26 lbs in 9 weeks. =) My hubby is up 2 lbs which is kind of weird sometimes because he keeps going back and forth but In my eyes he doesn’t need to lose weight anyway lol. I do love that he is doing this with me and works out with me. (Thanks so much hun)
