Hey everyone! =) Today has been a week since I started Weight Watchers new Simple Start Program. If you’re not familiar with Simple Start it is a new program through Weight Watchers that lasts 2 weeks (or more if you choose) before following their regular plan. It’s very simple and the only points that you need to watch in those two weeks are your daily indulgences if you choose to eat them. They provide you with a list of foods that you can eat whenever you want (as long as you don’t go overboard) and with those foods you can make healthy meals. They also give you meal plans which making planning even easier. =)
They even have an app that you can download to your smart phone. I wasn’t able to use this app in the first week because of my older phone but last night I just upgraded to a newer phone so I can’t wait to download and see what it is all about. =) This past week has been a change; in a good way. I don’t look at it as a diet but a lifestyle change. I have been eating healthier and making sure I don’t skip meals no matter how busy my life gets. This week I lost 4 lbs! =) (People following the Weight Watchers plan can expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week). I’m so excited. I may have a ways to go but losing any lbs gets me closer to my goal and being more healthy.
