Yes! Yes! Yes! Weight Loss Journey Week 17!!!

So I was kind of shocked this week. But I’ll get to that later lol. This week I have been finding myself feeling a little down lately and hope to get out of the funk soon. I have been hitting the gym almost twice a day for at least 5 days a week and enjoy going.

I find myself getting stronger every day and have even started to run on the treadmill now. Before that probably would have killed me and now it feels great. I’m hoping as the lighter I get the longer I can last running because it wont be so hard on my knees.

My husband and I have been decided that once a week we would have a little something high calorie so we don’t feel so deprived. We have been doing that for a few weeks but this past week our one time turned into a few times, which of course I’m not so proud of. This is where my shock comes from because even after all of that I am still down another pound this week and my hubby again stayed the same. (Not that he needs to lose any weight in my opinion anyway lol.)

Soo.. for next week I still need to work on my water intake and probably eat more vegetables and fruit. I also think at this point the weekly splurge will have to stop because there’s no way I want to go back to where I was. So not worth it!

    Sometimes we need to give ourselves a little cheating because if not it is hard to stay on the right track. Congratulations on still losing a pound this week. Every little bit helps.

    Loosing weight is such an on going journey for me. It comes off, and I put back on, then off again. I really need to focus on keeping it off. For health reasons.

    Meanwhile I fell off at the gym this week. I did do better with my eating though.

    I think it’s good you don’t deprive yourself and that’s awesome for doing better on the treadmill. Just don’t beat yourself up, okay? You’re entitled to slip up every now and then. You are awesome. Hope you feel better, soon.

    I’m trying to learn more about nutrition myself. I think I need to lose a little bit of weight but overall just eating better. You’re doing a great job and I think sometimes you do need a cheat day otherwise you may completely fall off the wagon. I do and I don’t regret it even if it means it takes me a little longer to lose the weight.

    Sounds like you had a really successful week 17–you go, girl! I love running on my treadmill because I can get some exercise in and keep an eye on my kids at the same time. I think it is a great idea that you are finding ways to keep yourself fulfilled and not feeling deprived all the well.

    The January after baby #6 was born I went on a bit of a diet to try to lose the weight and I always felt deprived. I was always so hungry and my husband finally said forget it! You are super strong to be able to do this! Even if you indulge a little bit you earn it!
